No more freezing while it sits idle, an end to duplicated calendar events, and images and attachments you can open full size or save.

Meridian no longer freezes while you’re away — background housekeeping could hold the database for minutes at a time. Because it only ran once you’d stopped typing, it hit hardest when you’d stepped away or shut the lid: your accounts quietly stopped syncing, and the app was frozen when you came back to it. It now works in small slices and stays out of the way.
A calendar shared between two of your accounts shows each event once — if the same calendar reaches Meridian through two accounts, every appointment on it appeared twice. Meridian now recognises the two copies as one event. Turning a duplicate calendar off is still respected: the copy that stays is the one you kept.

Click an image in a message to open it full size — arrow keys move through the other images in that message, and Escape closes. Images that are links still follow their link.
Save attachments and images — attachments have a Save to… option, and right-clicking an image in a message offers Save Image…, so you can keep a copy wherever you like instead of only viewing it.
Invitations sent as attachments now appear — some meeting invitations, particularly from Outlook organisers, arrive as an attached calendar file. Those produced no invitation card at all. They do now.
Meridian tells you when an invitation moves and your calendar hasn’t — when an organiser reschedules from another system, the new time can sit in your inbox while your calendar still shows the old one. The invitation now says so, and leaves the calendar alone until you accept.
Moving a task back to To-Do clears the time it was given — a task the assistant had placed on your calendar no longer holds that slot once you move it back. A time you chose yourself is left alone.
