Meridian 1.66.0

October 5, 2026

A quieter Meridian, one-click attachment downloads, and fresh checklists for repeating tasks.

Fixed

• Lower CPU use — Meridian no longer redraws the inbox and reschedules reminders over and over while syncing.
• Repeating tasks start with a fresh checklist — and the one you completed keeps your ticks.
• Contacts you delete in Google or Outlook leave Meridian — instead of staying behind blank.
• Archived and favorited contacts stay that way — after the next sync.
• Replying to “Smith, John” works — names with commas were refused as invalid addresses.
• Smaller fixes — more reliable focus and meeting-prep suggestions, steadier sync after your Mac wakes, and a stricter export decryptor.

Added

• Download attachments — a download button on every attachment, plus Download All for messages with several.
• Set a task’s status directly — To-Do, In Progress or Done, right on its detail page.
