How Meridian protects your data with encryption and on-device processing
At Meridian, privacy is the architecture, not a feature. Every technical decision we make starts with one question: how do we give you full control of your data?
Meridian is built on a zero-knowledge foundation for user content. Synced content is encrypted on your device before it leaves, and the relay stores ciphertext it cannot read. Provider-facing processing happens locally, AI runs on-device, and key material reaches the server only in an opaque wrapped or exchange form it cannot decrypt.
This section explains exactly how Meridian protects your data, what the server can and cannot see, and how you maintain full ownership of your information.
