Customize Meridian to work the way you want.

Appearance

• Auto — Follows your macOS system setting
• Light — Always use light mode
• Dark — Always use dark mode

Notifications

• Enable or disable notifications for new messages and sync events
• Toggle notification sounds on or off

Sync Interval

Control how often Meridian checks for new data from your connected accounts. The default is every 15 minutes. In addition to scheduled syncs, Meridian also responds to real-time notifications from providers (like Google and Microsoft push notifications), so most updates arrive within seconds regardless of this setting.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Meridian supports fully customizable keyboard shortcuts. Common defaults include:

• c — Compose new email
• s — Star / unstar message
• e — Archive message
• m — Mute conversation

You can view and customize all shortcuts in Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts.

Command Palette

Press the keyboard shortcut for the command palette to quickly search for and execute any action in the app. This is the fastest way to navigate if you prefer keyboard-driven workflows.

Profile

Update your name from Settings > Profile. Your email address is displayed but cannot be changed — it’s tied to your account identity.

Devices

View all devices connected to your Meridian account in Settings > Devices. You can see when each device last synced and remove devices you no longer use.

Account Deletion

If you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can do so from Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is irreversible — all your data, connections, and synced content will be permanently removed.
